There has been a considerable lack of art on my blog lately (as well as quality posts, if you ever consider me quality), but my new job is kinda tying me up art-wise. Have a sketch of a couple of my original characters as a placeholder for when I get a little extra time?

So I finally finished my Christmas picture of Pocket Girl! Wanted to get it up during this year.

Quick commission I did for a friend’s BF’s Christmas present. It’s getting cast in metal and attached to a military bag. Hells yes.

Some crafts I’ve been working on to sell locally. Book page stuff is really popular with the antiquing crowd around here, plus I think it’s fun to work with.
The skull is covered with pages from an old copy of Treasure Island.
The feathers are made from old sheet music, and I sculpted the bird skulls for use in jewelry.
The little mushroom and birdie were just something I was playing with and I think it came out cute.
After scanning this, I realized I should have cut out all of the background and put in music, but IT IS TOO LATE FOR THAT.
Anyways, this is something I’d been meaning to finish for a while.
Note about me: When I have art block, I draw eyes. One left eye almost always. It is very soothing to me.
